What is
Employer Brand Research?

Planning an EVP or employer brand research project? Let’s talk.

What You Get

Research you can build on — not a report that sits in a drawer.

Findings report — the attributes employees actually value, in their words, ranked by credibility and distinctiveness
Personas — candidate and employee personas grounded in the research
The gap list — where the day-to-day experience dispels the promise
EVP and messaging implications — what the brand can say, and what it must fix before it can say it
A prioritized roadmap — what to act on first

Proven in the work: Canon — research clarified Canon’s employer value and internal perception, producing a differentiated brand that supported retention and engagement. N3 — with zero name recognition, research-first branding positioned N3 against the Fortune 100 clients it serves. For Main Event, research across its 43 entertainment centers produced ‘Serious Fun. Together.’ — and cut time-to-hire in half.

Employee Focus Groups

Externally facilitated, so employees say what they edit out internally — the qualitative depth behind the numbers, and the evidence an EVP is built on.

New-Hire Insights

What recent joiners expected versus what they found. The gap between the two is where brands break.

Leadership Alignment Check

What leadership believes the culture is, tested against what employees actually report.

Competitive Analysis

How the employers competing for the same talent present themselves — and where the open ground is.
